Privacy

The short version

Your check-ins exist so you can understand yourself — not so anyone can monetize you. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and your raw answers are never shown to other users.

What we collect

Account basics: your email and password (passwords are handled by our authentication provider, Supabase, and never stored in plain text).

Check-in data: your daily answers, optional tags and notes, and the Vibe Drops generated from them. These are tied to your account and protected by row-level security — each user can only ever read their own rows.

Optional Apple Health data: sleep and heart-rate variability, only if you explicitly connect Apple Health. You can disconnect at any time in iOS Settings.

Vibe Capsules: notes and voice clips you record for your future self. Voice clips are encrypted before they're stored.

Waitlist signups on this website: just your email and, if you arrived through an invite link, the invite code.

How the AI part works

When you finish a check-in or chat with the companion, your input is processed by an AI model running on our servers. Your data is sent for that single response and is not used to train models.

The AI never sees more than it needs: your interpreted answers, recent check-in summaries, and what you type to it.

What friends can see (Duet)

Duet is opt-in. If you pair with a friend, they see only your daily vibe title and shareable line — the same things you could post anywhere. Your answers, notes, scores, and history are never shared, full stop.

Anonymous community stats

We keep an anonymous daily tally of overall mood buckets (for features like community mood). It contains counts only — no user IDs, no way to trace a bucket back to you.

Deleting your data

You can view and delete your data from inside the app (Settings → Privacy & Data), or email us and we'll erase your account and everything attached to it.
